This fantastic very high quality ammonite is from a locality which is no longer accessible to the general collector. Ammonites of this calibre are extremely rare especially from English fossil sites. The detail throughout the ammonite is superb and would make a wonderful acquisition for either the serious collector of rare UK ammonites or indeed an interior designer.
