| These ammonites are highly sought after by collectors and interior designers as they can form a focal point. Only rarely examples as fine as this come onto the open market, as this is totally genuine with a genuine centre and unbroken, whereas most of the ones that you see for open sale are of poor quality and the centres are carved in. The specimen is 17.5 inches across and has been beautifully prepared in its natural matrix. They simply don't come any better than this!! A real gem from the world famous Jurassic coastline of Dorset ! |
