description |
|
This specimen is an exceptionally large example of this species. The specimen has been removed from its surrounding matrix and has been prepared both sides. The very centre of the ammonite is missing, however, this does not detract from the overall aesthetics of the specimen. The specimen has a lovely white shell which really makes the specimen stand out. The ammonite is from a now filled in quarry and is approximately 100 million years old. |
