description |
|
This superb multi-ammonite 'Popping-stone' is incredibly aesthetic and of the highest quality. The nodule was first broken open to show indications of ammonites, then when the shells had been prepared the nodule was ground gem smooth and then a high polish applied. It is rare to get a multi-ammonite positive/negative. Approximately 200 million years old. This fossil will make a unique aquisition for the collector. |
