description |
|
A very rare specimen preserved in solid calcite. There is almost no erosion at this locality and the fossil bearing rocks only stretch approximately 100 metres. Prince Charles's Cave is not very accessible and extremely treacherous underfoot, hence very little material is ever seen from there, this specimen was collected over twelve years ago.
Fossilsdirect always bring you the finest prepared fossils from around the UK. Approximately 190 million years old. |
