description |
|
Another lovely display ammonite which is highly ribbed and would make a very decorative item for either the home or office space. These superb calcite ammonites are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain thesedays due to the lack of erosion on this particular stretch of coastline. In the aperture of the ammonite is also preserved the Brachiopod (Sphaeroidothyris sphaeroidalis) which is a very nice and interesting feature. Approximately 167 million years old. |
