description |
|
A stunning pathological ammonite which has been taken out of a nodule and has many hours of preparation spent on it to reveal the buckled and twisted whorls. Only very few Yorkshire coast ammonites show sickness or damage as clear and dramatic as this one. One for the collector of fine Pathological ammonites. Approximately 180 million years old. |
