description |
|
This fantastic Harpoceras is one of the finest we have seen from this locality. Ammonites of this very high quality are few and far between from this location. Many hours of preparation has gone into this fossil. The detail on the sutures is magnificent and the 'cat's paws' have also been prepared out, overall a truly superb fossil ammonite. The matrix has a cut base for ease of display. Approximately 180 million years old. Prepared by Andy Cowap. |
