description |
|
This very high quality classic ammonite was discovered some eight years ago after a violent storm which brought a section of the saturated cliffs down. Only a small piece of ammonite was showing but, after many hours of preparation by Andy Cowap has revealed this stunning fossil ammonite which is approximately 200 million years old. This type of ammonite is becoming rare nowadays especially ones of this colour and quality. A brilliant acquisition for either the serious collector or indeed an Interior Designer looking to achieve a unique edge. The matrix has a cut base for ease of display. |
