description |
|
A stunning and very rare example of this classic upper lias ammonite preserved in cream coloured calcite and prepared by Andy Cowap. The centre of the ammonite is perfect and the sutures have been prepared in full relief to give this stunning effect. We do not expect this wonderful example to hang around !! Approximately 180 million years old. |
