| description |
|
| One of the earliest Ophiuroid's ever known at approximately 460 million years old. This example was collected in 1964 and it could be a brand new species to science? It resided with the late professor GORDON WALKDEN and purchased from Stan Woods, the celebrated Scottish palaeontologist, we're not sure if Mr. Woods found the specimen or purchased it. It's one of the rarest fossils we have ever offered for sale on Fossils Direct. One for the collector of extremely rare Scottish fossils. |
