This incredibly rare carboniferous shark's dental plate is approximately 345 million years old and is virtually complete. The specimen was discovered in 1998 and has been fully prepared. The tooth lies on the surface of a piece of limestone. This fossil resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. A must for the collector of early english shark material. |
