description |
|
this is an incredibly aesthetic specimen , even though the vertebrae of this long necked marine plesiosaur are not complete. The two vertebrae have been prepared in rel8ief from the hard surrounding limestone matrix. This specimen was found at Church Cliffs, the very site where Mary Anning made many of her significant discoveries some 200 years ago. The specimen has a natural base which allows it to display beautifully. |
