| At one time these trilobites were fairly abundant, this was due to quarrying. Unfortunately now quarrying has now ceased and these are only to be found in collections. This particular specimen shows the classic metamorphic distortion which is produced by the rocks being moved over time. This is more or less a perfect example and is preserved on a hand sized piece of slate, making this a very tactile piece. A British classic!! |
