| Quality brittlestars are becoming increasingly difficult to find thesedays. This very attractive example lies in a shaped piece of hard siltstone. The base of the stone has been cut flat for upright display. This particular fossil was discovered in 1999 and has been fully prepared. There is a thin calcite vein which runs through a couple of legs but this does not detract from this lovely display fossil. Approximately 190 million years old. |
