| description |
|
| A lovely ammonite preserved in pyrite and was part of the Underhill collection, collected circa 1971. The natural irridescence on both sides of the ammonite is wonderful, displaying flashes of green, pink, red, yellow, orange. A very good centre both sides and partial 'cats paws' preserved. A lovely specimen and certainly one for the collector of nice Gault Clay ammonites. Approximately 108 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
