description |
|
This wonderfully preserved display ammonite has its centre pronounced and is surrounded by open chambers which are packed with small 'Dog Tooth' calcite crystals. The ammonite was discovered in 2002 and is approximately 200 million years old. The ammonite stands upright naturally and looks amazing with a light source shone upon it. There are thousands of white and brown crystals which cover most of the ammonite's front surface. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
