description |
|
This large Promicroceras has been preserved in a caramel colour and has an immaculate pin point centre. The outer whorl on the ammonite has two distorted ribs which indicates an illness/sickness for a period of time whilst the animal's shell grew. A visually stunning Promicroceras in a highly aesthetic piece of limestone, which also has a cut base for upright display. Approximately 200 million years old.
