description |
|
This incredibly rare Kimmeridgian ammonite was discovered circa 1988 and has been fully prepared. The shell is complete and has been preserved in solid calcite with incredible sutures. Many painstaking hours have gone into cleaning this ammonite. This species of ammonite is incredibly difficult to find or obtain thesedays and the locality is treacherous underfoot. The ammonite has a perfect centre and would make an important addition for the serious collector. Approximately 155 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
