description |
|
A fantastic example preserved in phosphate and was discovered in 1998. The natural irridescence on the ammonite's surface is absolutely stunning and exhibits deep greens, red, orange, purple and the odd flash of pink. On one side there is a pin point immaculate centre. Quality irridescent ammonites from this world famous locality are becoming real collectors items. Approximately 150 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
