This beautiful cluster of fossils includes a large Lissoceras which is a very rare oolithic ammonite, two Parkinsonia cf rarecostata, juvenile specimens and finally a Brachiopod shell (Sphaeroidothyris sphaeroidalis). Many hours of preparation have gone into this wonderful fossil which is approximately 167 million years old. The large Lissoceras measures 35mm, most specimens are around 24mm in diameter. This multi fossil will make an important addition for the discerning collector. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
