A wonderful example of this uncommon type of Stephanoceras which was discovered by the late John Huxtable from a temporary exposure in 1984, and has recently been fully prepared. The ammonite is attached to a small piece of rock which has a level base for upright display. Approximately 170 million years old. Fossils Diret is a premium collectors website. |
