| This unique display fossil exhibits two solid calcite ammonites preserved in two different colours which is highly aesthetic and rare. Both ammonites have been prepared on each side so light can pass through both shells, creating a stunning visual effect. The specimen was collected in 1989 after a small land slip struck Black Ven. The matrix has a flat base for upright display and attached to it, is a non slip and scratch pad for peace of mind when displaying on fragile surfaces. A really nice piece of art for either the collector or around the home as a unique conversation piece which is approximately 200 million years old. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
