description |
|
This really nice slither of crinoidal limestone exhibits a dozen or so shark denticles and a partial tooth? A really interesting fossil for the collector5 of rare Carboniferous shark material. This famous quarry has been overgrown for decades now, so any collecting is heavily restricted. This specimen is from the late Professor GORDON WALKDEN collection. Approximately 340 million years old and was collected in 1962. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
