This significant piece was discovered in 1962 and has resided in the late Professor GORDON WALKDEN collection ever since. The limestone plate exhibits several shark denticles and an indeterminate bone. Wonderful preservation from this long lost quarry in Derbyshire. Approximately 340 million years old. One for the discerning collector of English shark material. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website. |
