description |
|
This stunning footprint also has a possible "heel mark" which is incredibly rare and so defined. This is one of the finest Megalosaur footprints we have seen from this famous locality on the Yorkshire coast. The specimen comes with a display stand if needed. It was discovered after rough seas churned up the beach in the winter of 1998. This fossil has resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. This Megalosaurus footprint is approximately 160 million years old. |
