This Bivalve has been preserved in pale yellow calcite and was discovered circa 1861. It has resided ever since in the late Professor GORDON WALKDEN collection. This locality is a classic and the localities around this area are just not there anymore. The Bivalve lies on a small piece of oolithic limestone. Fossils Direct is a premium collectors website.
