description |
|
This stunning tooth was discovered in 1981 from a locality which is world famous, but collecting is now restricted to museums only. The surface detail and patina is absolutely superb, the palatal shark tooth lies in a small chunk of oolithic limestone. This fossil resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. An important addition for the discerning collector. Approximately 166 million years old. |
