This fish skull has magnificent detail throughout and a lower jaw section fully armed with sharp teeth. The top cranial plates have also been preserved. Quality vertebrae fossils are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain thesedays. Approximately 55 million years old. This lovely fossil fish resided in the late GORDON WALKDEN collection. |
