  This very rare Kimmeridgian ammonite is matrix free and has been preserved in dark yellow and brown calcite and there are patches of natural irridescence on both sides. The specimen was collected around 1983 and has remained in the same collection ever since. The ammonite's centre is immaculate both sides. Approximately 155 million years old.

The colours include green, blue, red, organge and pink and yellow. The specimen was discovered in 1986.
