Prepared by Andy Cowap, this very rare Upper liassic ammonite has been preserved in calcite and has an immaculate pin point centre. The specimen itself would grace any ammonite collection. Most of the localities around this area are no longer accessible to the collector, hence the growing rarity of top quality specimens such as this one. The matrix has a flat base for upright display purposes, but can easily be laid flat in a drawer. Fossils Direct are commited to bringing our customers old and new, the very finest prepared material from around the United Kingdom.
