  This beautifully preserved solid calcite ammonite has been fully prepared and lies at the top of a highly aesthetic piece of matrix which also has a flat base for upright display. The specimen itself was discovered in 1983. This fossil is approximately 200 million years old and would make a unique display piece around the home.

  This wonderful solid calcite ammonite has all of its nodes preserved. The ammonite lies in a flatstone which is an extremely rare occurrence. The specimen is from an old collection and was discovered in 1973 from the area where Mary Anning used to fossil hunt some 200 years ago. Ammonites of this size and quality are becoming increasingly scarce to find thesedays from this world iconic fossil locality.The matrix has a cut and level base for upright display.
