  A rare zonal ammonite which has an immaculate centre and strong ribbing throughout. The ammonite has been preserved in solid calcite and lies in the centre of a piece of Oolithic matrix. The ammonite has been fully prepared and is approximately 176 million years old.

  A really good example of a juvenile Stephanoceras which has been fully prepared on an aesthetic piece of matrix which also has a flat base for upright display purposes. The ammonite has an immaculate centre. Approximately 170 million years old.

  A really nice example of a Promicroceras ammonite overlying a piece of fossilized driftwood from the ancient "Monkey Puzzle" tree. The matrix has a cut base for upright display. The solid calcite ammonite has been predated on and a chunk taken out of it which almost certainly caussed its death, either by a Dapedium or Furo, two predatory fish around at this time. Approximately 200 million years old.

  This is quite a superb matrix free example which has been preserved to the centre on both sides. The specimen is very dark and has occasional flashes of colour when held at different angles to the light. This is a superb specimen, one for the collector.
