  This very rare lower liassic ammonite from Scunthorpe has been prserved with beautiful detail throughout and has a very good centre. All collecting ceased at the famous Scunthorpe quarries around 1998. To obtain these ammonites thesedays is very difficult as collectors tend to hang on to them. This specimen has been prepared one side only and was discovered in 1993.

  Firest described by (Donovan) this rare Coroniceras has been fully prepared one side only and has an immaculate centre. This specimen was collected in 1979 and has remained in the same collection ever since. The ammonite has been preserved in very dark brown calcite. One for the discerning collector of rare lower liassic ammonites. Approximately 206 million years old.

  A really nice quality example which has been preserved within a limestone concreation. The ammonite has been fully prepared and has an immaculate centre. Nearly all of these fossil bearing sites around this area are no longer accessible to the collector. This fine ammonite was discovered in 1999. Approximately 180 million years old.

  This lower lias ammonite was discovered at Robin Hoods Bay and has been exquisitely preserved. The specimen is a "popper" which means it still has the negative and the ammonite fits into it perfectly. A wonderful specimen and rare from this well known locality.
