  Collected in 1971, this complete ammonite exhibits wonderful natural irridescence with colours including deep reds,orange,greens yellows and flecks of blue. These ammonites are becoming increasingly scarse nowadays due to strict restrictions. This piece has been prepared by Andy Cowap. The matrix has also been prepared and has a cut base for upright display. A classic liassic ammonite which is approximately 208 million years old.

  A lovely example of this sought after upper liassic ammonite especially from this area which is uncommon. The specimen has been preserved in calcite and has an immaculate centre.
