  This specimen has been preserved in solid calcite and has an immaculate centre. It was discovered during a temporary expsoure in 2009. The ammonite lies on an aesthetic piece of matrix and has been prepared by Andy Cowap. One for the serious collector of rare UK ammonites. Approximately 17m0 million years old.

  A lovely example of this classic zonal ammonite. It has been preserved in various shades of brown calcite and has a very good centre. The matrix has a flat base for upright display options. Approximately 200 million years old.

  This lovely chunky piece is packed with tiny ammonites, the largest measuring 14mm (Promicroceras planicosta). Billions of these ammonites died out in a single catastrophe some 200 million years ago. Within each cross-section of an ammonite has been replaced by honey and brown coloured calcite. The matrix has a flat base to which is attached an anti slip and scratch pad for peace of mind when displaying on furniture or glass shelving. A high quality and unique piece.

  A fabulous piece which has been ground gem smooth on all sides and a high polish applied to reveal wonderful detail throughout the cross-section of ammonites. This original piece of Marston Marble would fit in very well with any collection. The light brown septarian really adds aesthetics to the specimen. Approximately 200 million years old.
