A beautifully preserved ammonite in solid calcite which has an immaculate centre and is lying next to a piece of fossilised wood from the ancient "Monkey Puzzle" tree. The matrix also has a cut base for upright display. The fossilised wood also has lovely texture and colour. Approximately 200 million years old.
This beautifully coloured Promicroceras ammonite lies in a generous and aesthetic piece of matrix which also has a cut base for upright display. A classic lower liassic ammonite which is approximately 200 million years old.
A lovely specimen which has twice as many ribs than the Commune. This ammonite has been contorted during fossilisation which is a really interesting feature and common for this particular area. Many areas around this locality are no longer accessible to collect fossils. Approximately 180 million years old.
