  This specimen has been preserved in yellow and green calcite and has a predation bite mark taken out of it maybe by a juvenile ichthyosaur or large predatory fish? Its very rare from this classic locality that ammonites are preserved in green calcite. The ammonites outer whorl also has most of its spines preserved and intact. One for the discerning collector. Approximately 200 million years old.

  A lovely zonal specimen from a long lost locality. The ammonite has been preserved in solid pyrite and is both sides. It was discovered in 1981. A very nice drawer fossil or incorporated into a piece of jewellery. Approximately 165 million years old.
