This is by far the finest and largest example we have ever had of this very rare Silurian trilobite. Although the tail is missing, this is compensated for by the rest of the specimen and the size of the specimen. The specimen is from an old Victorian collection and was collected in the peak of the mining era, when this site was producing many of the fine fossils that can be seen in museums throughout the world. A fantastic addition to anyone's collection!!

This specimen is from a very unusual location as this locality is more famous for its mineral Campylite which is an extremely sought after mineral. This complete trilobite is preserved on a slither of shale. On areas of the trilobite there tiny crystals which only adds to the interest of the piece. This is the only one we have ever seen from this locality and is from an old collection.
