From an old collection is this exceptional and extremely large Graptolite slab. Preerved on the matrix are two very large "Tuning Fork" Graptolites, infact these are probably the largest we have personally ever seen!! An amazing specimen and a real eye catcher!
Preserved in a large rectangular block of chalk is this stunning and rare example of this cretaceous chalk sponge. The sponge has been expertly prepared. Examples like this are very seldom seen for sale as most of them end up in museum collections. This is a particularly fine and extremely sought after specimen.
This beautiful display piece exhibits two Belemnite guards (Megateuthis ellipticus) and (Belenopsis cf.beyrichi),one Gastropod (Eucycloscala obornensis), one Bivalve (Gresslya cf.abducta)and one ammonite (Poecilomorphus sp). Multi fossil pieces such as this lovely specimen are a snapshot in time some 171 million years ago on an ancient sea floor. Many painstaking hours go into preparing these wonderful multi fossil pieces. The matrix has a cut base for upright display purposes. A totally unique fossil.
