  A beautiful example of this classic Gastropod from a world famous lower lias locality. This location is now closed to collectors permanently and so these super Gastropods will become increasingly scarse and hard to come by in the future. Very good detail throughout.   This wonderful Carboniferous gastropod comes from The Great Orme which in ancient human times, was mined for its copper. This specimen was collected back in the 1950's and has remained in the same collection ever since until today. The specimen has been prepared in full relief and is of high quality. From a rare location, one for the collector of fine fossils.

  Collected way back in the 1950's this specimen has remained in the same collection until now. The specimen comes from the Cretaceous limestone of The Great Orme, which is probably more famous for the ancient copper mines. The specimen is an exceptionally large example, preserved in white calcite. A "must" for any serious collector of gastropods or indeed, fine fossils.
