  A lovely tooth with natural wear on the crown tips. Hybodant shark teeth are incredibly rare to find from this iconic fossil locality. This is a complete tooth including its root. Discovered in 1981 after a storm hit the dorset coastline and stripped the shale. Approximately 200 million years old.

  This crushing tooth belonged to a juvenile shark and is uncommon from a locality which is sadly no longer accessible to the collector. The tooth itself has stunning surface detail and beautiful colouration which really stands out against its cream coloured background. A lovely collectors piece.
