  This specimen was found approximately ten years ago from the famous Lower Greensand lobster bed of Atherfield Point. The specimen has been gently air abraded to bring out the wonderful detail and to uncover some of its delicate long legs. A fine specimen of a common lobster.

The under side of the carapace has been carefully prepared and exhibits the walking legs, claws and the distinguishing feature is the abdomen which indicates that this is a male.
