From a water worn piece of matrix which was found in the loose shingle on the beach, preserved on its surface is a large fish jaw with numerous teeth preserved. On the reverse side of the piece of matrix, this literally covered in small oyster shells. An unusual piece and one definitely for the collector.
Preserved in a large rectangular slab of Marl Slate, is this wonderful and complete fish. Fish of this size and quality are seldom seen on the open market for sale. A fantastic addition to any collection.
This 375 million year old fish has lovely detail throughout. It lies on a shaped piece of hard siltstone. Ancient fish fossils such as this specimen are highly collectable and will make a very nice addition to a fossil collection. Becoming scarse from this classic locality.
