description
This specimen was found at the famous Treak Cliff reef outcrop back in the 1950's and has remained in the same collection ever since. It is a rare example of an Orthoceras, a pre-cursor to the ammonite. The specimen is preserved in solid white calcite and would make a lovely addition to any limestone collection.
